Dan and Jerry's participates in a closed loop recycling program with a number of plastic suppliers to reduce waste of greenhouse poly, cardboard, and growing containers.

By recycling 100 pounds of corrugated cardboard this reduces greenhouse gas emissions by over 150 pounds.

By using the post consumer product of Rice Hulls in our soil mixture we reduce the need for herbicides in our soil mixture. The Rice Hulls decompose for 7-10 years before they are ready to be used.
